Michael and Sue Hendrick

Following ten years living, learning and teaching with Inuit communities in Igloolik, Nunavut, Michael and Sue chose Minto to settle their family.

After a short time living in Clifford, the Hendricks established themselves in Harriston, pursuing teaching careers with the regional school board and making a significant impact with local students and their families.

Eager for new challenges, Michael and Sue invested in the old federal post office in Harriston, purchasing the building in October 2015, and creating a vision to restore it as a community centrepiece with input and influence from many.

The Hendricks remain full engaged and excited about everything that is happening inside these 1912 walls.
